Upgrade “zenoss-stack” install on Ubuntu from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2

So if you’ve done a zenoss-stack install on Ubuntu using the standard repositories and want to upgrade to the latest stable release 3.0.2 here are instructions.

  • sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list
  • Add the following line to the end:

deb http://dev.zenoss.org/deb main stable

  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get upgrade zenoss-stack
  • reboot
